Bury St Edmunds Methodist Circuit

The Circuit Churches are rooted in five hundred square miles of rural mid Suffolk; through villages and chapels, smaller to larger towns and churches, through stunning landscapes and architecture - telling a story of Suffolk Vibrancy, History, and on-going Creative Legacy. The Circuit moves from Needham Market in the East, taking in Stowmarket as you travel West, across to the Cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds and                                                          down to Sudbury; within this the Rural and Town embraces the village chapels of Ixworth, Glemsford and Bradfield.  

The Circuit Churches seek to inhabit a grounded theology of place, community wellbeing, inclusion of each others gifts and talents, diversity and graces, of being who we are individually and as community, inhabiting the ecology of land, people, place, and history, of Methodism in Suffolk.  

Within the Circuit is The Martins, a Methodist Home in Bury St Edmunds, providing housing and care (www.mha.org.uk) and The Culford School (www.culford.co.uk), a Methodist Independent Co-educational Day and Boarding School.
